I mean as Muslims we say we should ONLY fear Allah and of course this is true...but there are events we fear...we fear the death of family members or friends or a series of events that could lead to our death while in a misguided or even possibly Kafir state...(there is a dua against that by the way...may we only die but as Muslims) ....anyways....so I was thinking about what I fear....and I was thinking about how people are claustrophobic (afraid of enclosed areas) and then I thought what would be worse....To be struck with blindness...and deafness and even muteness...imagine for a moment if you could no longer hear or speak....you couldnt communicate with anyone and no one could ever communicate with you again...what would you do for the rest of your life? what purpose would you fulfil? Or even worse...how would you serve and worship Allah in that state....your own private solitary confinement...

If you asked a blind Mulims "What would you want to see if you were given sight?" He would say "EVERYTHING, but its not what I would want to see, but what would I not want to see...and that would be anything that would displease Allah"

If you asked a deaf Muslim "What would you want to hear if you were given hearing?" He would say "EVERYTHING, but its not what I would want to hear, but what would I not want to hear...and that would be anything that would displease Allah"

If you asked a mute Muslim "What would you say if you could talk" He would say "EVERYTHING, but its not just what I would say, but what I wouldn't say and that is anything that displeases Allah"

The blind Muslim would only want to see things that halal and good and he would hate munkar (evil) things and evil sights

The deaf Muslim would probably want to hear the Quran and the goodness of the hadith and only fill his ears with that which pleases His Lord

The mute Muslim would probably only want to recite Quran and praises of Allah and goodness...and keep his tounge wet with the rememberance of Allah....

I thought about that....and I said...If I was struck (inshAllah, I hope never) with something like that...I would regret wasting my time on watching evil things, T.V, evil glances at women, oppression, or listening to vain talk, backbitting, vain music and cursing or saying horrible things and shameful phrases...I would wish for my abillity back even if only I could do those blessed acts just once more...in sight, hearing, speaking and physical movement there is a great blessing but there is also great responsibillity...kinda like SpiderMan right? with great power comes great resonsibillity....sure you might not be flying through the air or stop bullets, but I'm sure there are millions of people in wheel chairs, crutches or beds that would glady trade their disabillities for the chance to become tired from walking to masjid or their eyes becoming red from reading Quran all night or tounge becoming dry from speaking truth and forbidding evil or even having a limb severed for the sake of Allah in battle..

Steps I'm going to take InshAllah:
1) Be thankful to Allah for the blessed bounties of seeing, walking, talking, feeling, hearing, moving
2) Use my abillities to worship Him more
3) Keep my abillites away from evil things

How do you combat poverty? By beating the improverished, of course!!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/csm/20060504/wl_csm/ozero

Its 4:52am Friday Morning of May 5th, 2006. I just read this news article about how RIO DE JANEIRO police are "cracking" down on petty theives and crime. By of course, taking lessons from Rudy Gulliani. Now, Im all for cracking down on crime and making criminals pay for their actions, however, the crime problem in Brazil isn't something that happened overnight. Heck, it goes back more 50 years+!!

"However, with Zero Tolerance's expansion into the wealthy Ipanema and Leblon neighborhoods in April, police are targeting a very specific type of citizen - Rio's beggars and street children. While their presence alone may not be criminal, the street population is generating a climate of fear and insecurity for residents and tourists alike, according to the program's supporters."

Plainly put, the problem isnt the children, the theives, the beggers. Its the government. These are people. Human Beings. Just like you and me. They live in your country, Brazil. HEY BRAZIL, Im talking to you, so pay attention. They are your problem. They have been your problem since way before their grandparents were born into poverty, in you wretched cities, filed with sex tourism, the super rich and druglords that pay off your police chiefs, mayors, and other scum that lies in your belly.

Somewhere along the line, in the history of Government, people started to think that the people serve the government. And that the people are just the means to which the machine is fueled by. How people call this democracy Ill never know. More like democrazy, or demonic-cracy. How can the government see their people like this? No government today actually puts the welfare of their country folk AHEAD of all other issues. Because that is the purpose of government, to make sure the people are happy, fed, clothed, healthy and educated. Why do U.S Senators and Governors need mansions and limos? Why does the government literally WASTE billions of dollars a year on frivolos items, while millions of citizens and inhabitants of this "free" country are sick, hungry, cold and dying in the streets? How can those governors, lie in their 12 bedroom mansions while hungry children eat rotten food from garbage cans? 50 Mansions, would probably equate to around $100 Million, right? give or take. Hmmm considering there are over 750,000 without a place to sleep each night, i think we should start selling those homes. Why do high-ranking government officals get so much money, power, privlage and influence?

Thirty-one million Americans now live in hunger or on the edge of hunger. (State Government Responses to the Food Assistance Gap 2000, Third Annual Report and 50 State Survey, December 2000).

Did You know TIME!!!

Did you know that form 830-833 C.E, in the Islamic Empire, there was no need for the charity money collected from the people? They had to spend it on people who needed money, food, or shelther and in that population of over sevreal hundred thousand, if not million people there was no one. So they told the people to come get married and they'll give them start up money and a house.

Did you know that the 2nd Khalifa Omar-Ibn-Al-Khattab used to cry daily due to the famine that ripped through his empire. He refused to eat luxry foods such as butter until the people got back on their feet.

Did you know that the governors under Omar's rule could not have doors? They had to available to the people at anytime. They were also not allowed any luxries at all. Not even indoor baths, sheets for their adobe walls, or extravagant food. The people were of course allowed these things, but the governors were responisble for the people's well being, why should they get luxaries while the people are cold and hungry?

Did you know that under True Islamic Rule (not available anywhere on the planent, anymore, not yet anyway) the people were given a stipend, land, food, healthcare, and education, free of charge, and obligated by the state. The state could not keep large funds of money or resource for a long period of time. It had to be given back to the people. Can you imagine? Getting a house, a car, free healthcare, free education and a living stipend for living under the Islamic Empire? Even if you aren't a Muslim. Heck, if you're not a Muslim your rights and religious freedoms are protected by law.

you See, thats what WE Muslims want for you. We want to give you those things, We cry daily that we can't honestly!!! Thats a government that we want. not these oppressive regimes of tyrannts and dictators. Thats not freedom and not real Government. We want the people to have all those free things. And why don't want to tax you either. Heck, if you do the right thing, you won't need to tax the people. This country says they want freedom, but i just see hypocrisy and anger. True Islam is not something to be fear, but something to be revered.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://justabd.blogspot.com/2006/05/how-do-you-combat-poverty-by-beating.html' title='How do you combat poverty? We had dinner at a friends house on Saturday Night. We saw Lucky Number Slevin. Which is now my favorite movie of all time. Beyond everything else. Slevin, is so tight. And we got a blowout and it took two and half hours to fix it. Car fall off the jack 3 times. Very tired. And I’m taking 5 upper divison classes right now, its like a full time job. All in All. And its approx. 128 days until Im completely done. I have 8 more units I need to complete before I'm DONE.

So what's next for Asad? I dunno. I'd really like to work, then most likely get an MBA. I might do it at UCR, but we'll have to see. InshAllah whatever comes up. I have to do my best and put my trust in Allah. Wait what's all that noise? Someone wants to interrupt my blog with a question? Ok, what? You in the back with your hand raised?

"Aren't you working somewhere now? and you seem to be jumping from job to job alot, what's up with that?"

Ahhhh, I'm glad you asked. So I'm sure lots of people know I'm working at Start RiteInc right now. And that in the last 3 years I was an RF Engineer, Debt Managment Consultant, Debt Negotiator, Marketing and Sales with Guidance Financial, and now this Business Devlopment Manager with Start Rite Inc. so why do I take so may jobs you ask? Well, there's a lot of reasons. 1) I'm in school right now, so I need something that will be flexible and pay more than a regular wage. There's no use trying to juggle a career and school esp, since I'm almost done. 2) I like to gain experiance in alot of fields. I need to know what's out there so that I can settle into a job I really like, rather than,do what I know how to do for like 5 years and realize I hate my job. 3) I enjoy learning about new jobs and new careers, what better way than to actually do it.

What aren't I with Start Rite anymore? Because of a lot of reasons. But the one Im going to tell you is: I dont think this company is big enough for me to be stable, to grow as a businessman, or offer me what I really want. Plus, I want something local, I dont want something that may make MOVE to someplace like NY.

Make Dua for me and My family and inshAllah the Angels and I will do the same.

And Alhumdillah we're gonna be just fine, inshAllah.

Peace

And the whole Muslim world Says "WTF" at the exact same time...

N.Korea says that the U.S doesn't have a monopoly on Pre-emptive strikes

WTF. Alhumdillah Alhumdillah Alhumdillah. I will tell you why I have two bikes. The first bike is a commuter bike, a lil faster and more comfortable than a regular mountain bike than one would see at the store(NEVER EVER BUY A BIKE FROM LARGE CHAIN STORES, ALWAYS BUY FROM A BIKE SHOP), also its got slicker tires for smoother faster rides and its geomtry is diffrent.

This bike. 2003-ish KHS Flite 300, I bought from a guy who works at a bike shop in OC. He wants to open us his own Bike shop, I took it for a ride and I was amazed at the price. Orignally it sells for around $650+. Its a road bike, so the frame is lighter, it has a drop bars (those cuvy bars), also has strapped pedels and road tires. Alhumdillah very fast and very efficient. Road bikes are made for speed and distance.

Mainly I bought the second for these reasons: 1) I want to train on a road bike for competion inshAllah. 2) I'd like to go riding with Sumaya, so might as well get a used bike that I'll ride and she can ride the newer bike. 3) I can now ride with my friends who don't have bikes at all. 4) There's a local scholar who's got a nice road bike, so I want to keep up ya know, when we go riding. Alhumdillah

The pic is SIMILAR to what I have, mine is a lil bit older, but my compents are all updated, brakes, gears, etc.

The really cool thing about my bike. Ok. The shifters and the brake are intergrated. So to shift you push the brake lever left or right, to brake you pull back (obviously) Its called S.T.I Shimano Triple Intergrated componets. :-) Alhumdillah To learn more about bikes and which one you should get, go to

http://bike.shimano.com/publish/content/cycle/sac/us/en/new_to_cycling.html

and learn about what bike is right for you. Come ride with me, InshAllah

The Stories of Saif Albert Harby-Ch 3

The Unit

There were 20 men in the unit. 5 per bedroom with 5 on constant watch. There were 2 always roaming the exterior of the home with 3 inside. Each solider carried a standard issue 1911 Colt pistol, a fighting knife and a klashnikov rifle. The 1 of the 3 inside carried a heavy machine gun with 200 round capacity with another 3000 rounds in a 3 cases. The garage held most of the explosives a truck used to deliver the pounding they exacted on whomever they pleased. The unit commander was a lean sergeant. He claims to have killed over 300 rebels in the last 3 years. At 6’5’’ and 290lbs the unit believed him. He was the most ruthless and sick of the Russian army. Even his superiors balked at his exploits. Mass executions while playing music in the background, elaborate torture styles, and even some rumored cannibalism and ritualistic dismemberment as part of his tactics. At age 39 he was a war veteran and decorated solider the likes of which, few have ever accomplished. Although, he was offered high ranking political positions back home, he always spit in the face of his superiors (sometimes literally) when asked to retire. The sergeant saw himself as a crusader, a hero, a one man army against the animals that have been such a torn in the side of mother Russia. He believed his mission was from God.

The commander handpicked his unit. Each one more crazy and audacious then the next. Not a sane bone in the body, and if they did have one, it was no sooner picked out than shot off. These guys were lower than dirt. Steal candy from a baby? More like steal the baby and sell it on the black market for blow. Their sole purpose in life is to destroy life. To take pleasure in it. To revel in the last seconds of their prey’s departure from this earth. To watch the life drain from the eyes of a victim was better than the soft touch of woman. Soft or hard, cold or warm, it didn’t matter. Unit 88 was a specialized unit formed to take on the most dangerous tasks. What the group lacked in overall honor, they made up in results. Village to village, town to town, city to city. 88 racked up the numbers, cleaned out the areas, effiecntly, and tactically dismantling the rebel forces. Until a strange thing happened. Their officers began to be targeted. But this just enraged 88. This just fueled the beast within. Stranglely they couldn’t catch anymore rebels. They were too quick. Moving from building to building, underground or around corners. 88 was always one step behind. They have been in this god forsaken city for weeks. With their numbers dwindling, their morale eroded. No women. Booze running out. Haven’t killed anyone in 2 weeks. There was a strange stillness in the air. A tension building. The men were restless, getting no direction from the commander. The Commander was constatly heard yelling in the radio phone about the lack of support and defending the unit’s tactics. Fear was starting to brew. After 4 unit members were sniped while playing cards in the yard, the unit never felt the same. It wasn’t so much that they were killed. No, it wasn’t that. It was more the fact that they were 6 sitting in the yard, but the 4 killed were all ranking officers. They were the most senior of the group. It had happened so fast the other 2 didn’t even notice until their bodies had fallen on to the ground in rapid succession. Small silent pifs of noise. One soilder was shot through the eye, the other three were shot in the neck. It was a message. “We can see you, We can kill you, We can make you suffer” .Uncanny marksmanship. No sooner had that incident happened than the one that came after. Horrible.

It happened on a Thursday night. The unit was celebrating a shipment of clothes they intercepted from an importer. They managed to get some really warm jackets. They were supposed to go to the town, but this was tax season. Cleaning isn’t free. During the celebration the 2nd in command went outside to make a phone call. He didn’t come back inside. He was found the next morning in the back yard. Animals. It had to be. But it couldn’t be. The cuts were too precise, the blade had to be super sharp. Razor thin. He wasn’t dead when they found him though. He was still alive if you can call it that. His face was cut deep with a sharp knife, his whole body carved out, tendons shredded, muscles cut out, knee caps drilled out, broken bones, tongue, eyes. It seemed that every time he was cut, someone had stopped the bleeding with a tourniquet. Blood everywhere. The grass was matted with blood. They carved him out in the backyard while the whole house slept. The eerie knowledge of that shook the men to their roots. The commander came in the back yard, took one look and shot him the temple. Was it out of mercy or more out of anger that he let someone do that to him? The men saw his face and mercy was not in it.

He resided in the large bonus room the pervious owners used as some sort of prayer area. The rug that once was worshipped on was so far from being the original bright white they first saw. It was now covered in mud, blood, and other human waste products usually left by the tortured individuals that were brought there for questioning. Of course after they were disposed off quickly so not to leave a smell. But the rug would always bear their last moments.

The Stories of Saif Albert Harby-Ch 2

Saif

How does one begin? Life is a series of seemingly randomly occurring events in succession. But at one moment, one single moment, it seems that you were created for this one moment. That all your life you planned, waited, trained, hoped and prayed for this one moment. Sometimes we start a life that begs to be finished. Our entire lives wasted in hopes to be finished out, we are a waste of space, up until that moment. Finally, your life makes sense. This was one of those moments.

No one really knows how Saif came be. Saif Albert Harby. A legend in his own right. An underground hero both feared and respected amongst politicians, war lords, drug cartels, and assassins. His mark was priceless. A mark left behind by Harby went on underground auction blocks for as much as $5M. The higher end more elaborate masterpieces he’s done, can never be sold. Usually they are stolen or lost forever in collections that may never see the light of day. Who is Saif Albert Harby? Well, I’m going to tell you. But its far more complicated than it seems. I can’t just tell you who he is and where he came from. You must journey. You must traverse time and delve into the deep darkness that lurks inside men’s hearts. You must witness the unknown actions that have shaped our world today. But first. Each day he will put a new part of the story up for everyone to read. We must warn you, the story is rated R for violence.
***(If anyone has ever watched Kill Bill Vol.1 & 2. then you will understand the way the story is written. You will find it kinda comic book like and a little greusome, but the story will progress to diffent parts and explanations. I'm not a writer by trade, just by fun. Enjoy, take it easy, take it with a grain of salt. The idea is action novel.****************

The cold Russian air froze the soldiers canteens. Although they didn’t drink much water anyways, it was still annoying. The cheap vodka they were drinking was enough to warm them up. It was too cold to venture out in the night. The unit was tying up “loose-ends” towards the end of December, they were supposed to be home early November, but the rebels were putting up a tougher fight then expected. No matter. The women were easier to deal with in the cold weather anyways. It seems they put up less of a fight when they stick the cold end of a Klashnikov in their mouth. The group thought of it as a fun game to play when the rebels became more and more outrageous.

Their makeshift base of operations was at the end of the small Checyan town .The unit ransacked and killed the inhabitants earlier in the year. Their bodies were buried in cement blocks underneath the house. The women served their purpose until the mother got a hold of a rifle and killed her 3 pre-teen daughters then turned the rifle on the men. She was shot, then raped then buried along with the rest of the family. Apparently she could not take watching her daughters brutally abused day in and day out for 2 weeks straight. What primitive creatures the soldiers thought! It was a 3 bedroom flat with working toilets and electricity. The earlier mammals that lived there were clean for their species. But they didn’t have any alcohol at all. I was always weary of voting in these socalled democratic systems. Is this a sign that sometimes we must abide by the powers that be in order to gain power to asert the Deen of Allah? (by no means bending or compromising anything in the deen or aqeedah) Is this truly a win for Muslims or just Palestineins? Is this a step toward a freer and more secure Islamic State? I took that piece of camel waste back to Target. SubhanAllah, the difference is like night and day. Alhumdillah, Alhumdillah, Alhumdillah. No kidding, I really mean Alhumdillah. Its called a KHS, Urban X-Press. I bought it saturday at a Bike shop in Riverside. Great Service, Lifetime warranty, Free tune ups and maintance for life. I actually walked in on Saturday around 2:30pm. The guy let take it for a ride around the parking lot a couple times. As soon as I saw I knew I was going to buy it. I called Sumaya and asked her advice, she said to come pick her up and check out a couple others stores in the area before we rush in. So we checked out a store around the block. These blokes were the real deal. 100% cyclcers, no joke. All their bikes were mainly $900 and up. So we went back to other one, and found that the guy sold my bike! I was devastated. I had no bike, and the bike I wanted was sold and I might not get another one until next Saturday!!! (Car issues and schduleing). But the guy said the new owners wont be coming in until Tuesday and he can call his vendor to ask if he can get another one in on Monday. BANG. I walked out with the best bike I've ever ridden. Smooth as silk. Powerful like you wouldn't believe. I mean its amazing. It really is. I got my neighbor Don from Downstairs to ride it and it blew his mind. He's never ridden a bike like that ever. Its Amazing. Alhumdillah Alhumdillah Alhumdillah. I have a new camel.

One for Jihad and JIhad for All!!

First it is important to note that this is the ayah below is the ayah before (4:95). 2nd. According to Muft Muhammad Shafi in his book Ma'ariful Quran Vol. 2 Pg. 546, these ayahs happened to be in regard to an incident among the Sahaba. The companions did not believe some of the other Muslims about their Islam and killed them and took their belongings.

"Allah Almighty condemned this indiscretionary practice. However, an admontion was considered sufficent and no severe warning was revealed for them against this act because the Compaions did not know the rule clearly till that time.(Bayan Al-Quran)".

"O ye who believe! When ye go abroad in the cause of Allah, investigate carefully, and say not to any one who offers you a salutation: "Thou art none of a believer!" Coveting the perishable goods of this life: with Allah are profits and spoils abundant. Even thus were ye yourselves before, till Allah conferred on you His favours: Therefore carefully investigate. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do. (4:94)

NOW, what we are talking about with the women and Jihad, is not discussed in the tafseer of these ayat (I had to get that clear, less we be misguided)

About Women and Jihad. From what you said, that sounds about right, if it's supported by the Quran and Hadith .I think we first we need to discuss Fard Kifayah and Fard `Ayn. Fard Kifayah "refers to obligations the fullfillment of which is not mandatory on every individual Muslim. Instead, if some fill it, that will be good enough"pg 551. This also includes, building masjids, islamic schools, community activities, public welfare programmes. Should it be that their Jihad (of war) is insufficent, Jihad becomes an absoulte obligation on neighbouring Muslims in the first instance. If this support too turns out to be not enough for the situation, then it becomes mandatory until the need is filled, including other countries. Same goes for teaching, building and so on. So therefore, if Jihad were brought to the streets of Albuquerque, NM and the men alone weren't cutting it, (as in the battles of Rasooullah, some of his wives were fighting as well) then the women must fill that obligation.

Also from the ideals of Islam, there is always a balance in everything. If a woman must fend for herself and her home while her husband battles, she is sacrificing and striving to balance the household in the name of Allah. There is always a balance. Both in good and in bad.

Also these ayahs are in regard to those who can fight, who must fight and they dont fight. Let us not be of those we cower behind falsehood.

There's something about Jihad...

Jihad.
